As we continue to grow, we 're keen to talk to industry experts who have deep experience of forecasting air travel demand.  You'll be familiar with identifying the key demand and supply drivers of air travel demand, and have several years of experience in preparing short and long term forecasts. You will also have worked on peak hour modelling and Design Day Flight Schedules so it's likely you gained your experience working at an airport, or in a consultancy working on Airport Masterplanning projects.

The sorts of things you'll be doing for us:

• Develop and maintain short, medium, and long-term forecasts for passenger and cargo demand across various regions, routes, and market segments.

• Analyse historic data, economic trends, and external factors (e.g., fuel prices, GDP, population growth) to predict future aviation demand.

• Evaluate the impact of external shocks (e.g., pandemics, geopolitical events) on demand.

• Develop demand scenarios based on various factors, including economic conditions, regulatory changes, and consumer behaviour shifts.

What will you bring to us?

• Strong forecasting and analytical skills.

• The ability to handle substantial data sets with ease, particularly using Excel, with the ability to find new ways to present and visualise data. This is likely to include experience of using business analytics platforms such as PowerBI or Tableau

• Experience of working with aviation industry databases (e.g. OAG, IATA, Sabre, etc).

• Ideally 10 years or more experience in demand forecasting preferably within the aviation or transportation sectors.

• Proven experience using statistical and econometric models for forecasting and strong knowledge of forecasting techniques (time series, regression models, etc).
